Planetary Gear
A spur gear is the most common type of gear and is shaped like a cylinder or disc. The teeth run straight out from the outer surface of the cylinder. The spur gear looks symmetrical on both sides. It is often used in applications requiring low speed and high torque, in construction, mining and agricultural machinery.
